Who We Are

My name is Victor West, I am the Chief Cook & Bottle Washer here at Vanessa's Flowers. www.vanessas-flowers.com The store is named after my daughter, who was to smart & got her Masters and now works at Oakland University.

At one time she worked for Enterprise, at a seminar they asked the question "how many of your parents work harder than you", she was the only one to raise her hand...... so she got her masters and the rest is history.

We have been in business for 15 years. Myself and my two designers have a combined experience of 60 years in the floral business. I stress continued education here at the shop and make sure that everyone attends every seminar and class that we can get to.

People ask what makes us different and the only answer that I can give is "that we still care". We work to make sure that every order that we take is handeled as if it were our own. From the care & handeling of the flowers, the design, to the education of our customers. We want you to enjoy your purchase for as long as possible.

The customer is our main focus. A florist is a manufacturing plant. We take a raw product and turn them into arrangments for your home, business and events. If you don't satisfy you customer you wont be in business. Our goal is to listen to the customer and create what they want & need.

This is my first entry to just get started. In the future I plan on posting care & handeling tips (so your flowers last longer at home), industry trends and whatever I come accross that may be of interest.

Vanessa's Flowers is a full service florsit located in Plymouth Michigan. We are at 545 Ann Arbor Rd W, just east of Main St in the Riverbank Plaza. Accross the street from Boston Market and between Papa Ramano's and Mr Pita (we have been here longer than all those, but everyone seams to know where the food is). We also serve Northville, Canton, Livonia & the Westland areas.
